SyncTeams Studio is a multi agent AI automation platform that helps users simplify complex workflows by coordinating multiple AI agents to perform specific tasks. The platform covers a landing page, a user web app where automations are built, and an admin dashboard for oversight and metrics. Built over six months from January to July 2025.
Most AI workflow tools are either too simple or too technical for non developers to use. The original version of SyncTeams tried to do everything in one place and ended up cluttered, confusing, and hard to navigate. Users could not clearly see what was happening at each step, and the interface felt overwhelming rather than helpful.
I led the entire product design solo from concept to beta launch. This covered the landing page, user web app, and admin dashboard. I worked closely with the development team throughout to make sure every design decision was technically viable within their backend framework.
The project went through two versions. V1 followed the original brief but two months in it became clear the brief did not capture the full complexity of the product. Agents, tasks, tools like Slack and Google Drive, and AI frameworks were all deeply interconnected in ways nobody had fully mapped out. I made the call to restart completely.
For V2 I studied similar products like n8n, Flowise, and Gumloop and attended live classes on AI workflows before touching any designs. The biggest structural change was separating the dashboard from the canvas. The dashboard gave users metrics and workflow status at a glance. The canvas remained the space for building and configuring automations. This separation reduced cognitive load and made the product feel intentional at every step.
The product launched to beta and is currently being tested by real users. The V2 interface was significantly cleaner and more usable than V1. The stakeholders were satisfied enough with the work to bring me back for a second AI product, Akuvera, an automated denial management system for healthcare.
